Hi, It's me. maryf! This website looks like a great alternative! I'm from Southern New Jersey, along the Delaware Bay Shore. So, I need to explore the site, add an avatar... maybe even post pix again!

Hi, this is Barbara (BarbK). So happy to be on this forum. It's great. Good to see all the familiar names again. I live at the Jersey shore, 3 miles from the ocean and have been feeding birds now for about 18 years. I put out suet, mixed seed, and sunflower seed. Also have two birdbaths in the summer and in the winter, have one birdbath out there and it's heated.

Luv2, you're right, the forum is wonderful! Learning the ropes now. Good instructions for adding the avatar. Have a few questions for all you Forum experts out there, too. To be continued tomorrow...

Hi ! My name is Lyn. I live in a large town in New Brunswick, Canada.
That's on the east coast, between Maine and Nova Scotia.
My home is two blocks from a tidal river on the Bay of Fundy. I frequently walk along the Riverfront Trail and am continually amazed at how different the bird population is in that short distance.
Thanks Lue for suggesting I join this forum. It is great to 'see' many familiar names.

Yay! I'm glad you like this new place.
Ack!!! I think on the other forum I posted as though you were on the west coast!!! Translating New Brunswick into British Columbia! Sorry, my brain mixes things sometimes. I'm usually better at geography than that.

Hi ! My name is Lyn. I live in a large town in New Brunswick, Canada. Hi Lyn, welcome to our great forum. Kim has worked really hard, and Hazel & Lue I believe have contributed a lot. I remember pictures from before of your tidal river changes and we'll welcome more of those!

Kim has worked really hard getting the board set up and I think Lue is our best recruiter--I just sit back and make suggestions. LOL Welcome, Lyn! Happy you made it over!
