Sorry, I just saw this. I'll test tonight or tomorrow. I've never used the notifications, I just have the site bookmarked. Will get back to you after I test. How does one bookmark?

You'd set a bookmark through your browser, l2b. In IE and Foxfire, at least, it's the star symbol in the top menu of the browser--you click on it to set a bookmark to the page you're on. Then, next time you want to go to that page, you can pull the URL out of your list of bookmarks.

Sorry, I got tied up and haven't had a chance to look into the problem. I will over the weekend.
If you use IE its "Favorite", its "Bookmark" in Chrome and Firefox.

I set notifications and am getting them in email. If you haven't already done so can you check your 'spam' or 'junk' email folder to make sure the messages aren't getting sent their by your email system?

Hi Kim, everything is wonderful now, I can click on to Proboards from my email now instead of having to go to the Web and clicking on from there.
Thanks again, it's much appreciated,

I'm glad its working but I didn't do anything other than test it. There must have been some issue with it behind the scenes that they upgraded or fixed. Happy its all settled!

I just got 2 notifications when I was quoted. I'm not sure how consistently the feature is working. Its nothing we have any control over. I'll search help tomorrow and see if I can find any other info.

I wished it would go back to the way it was, when someone posted, (new thread or on an older thread), it would send an email to everyone letting us know that there has been a new post added.

I never got notifications, l2b--I turn them off in my profile when I sign up on any site. Could yours have been turned off somehow? If you go to your profile, click on "Edit Profile", then click the Notifications tab--under the email column you have your choice of "smart", "instant", "daily", "weekly", and "never". It doesn't look like you can get any notifications for an entirely new thread, but you can get them for updates to threads you've already participated in...

I don't see any way for new thread either hazel. I had a death in the family and some other family things. I'll look into it more soon luv2.
