OMG! That is quite a crew! I bet you're enjoying watching them and the antics. What fun! All our Orioles have been gone for at least two weeks. They're already sunbathing in Mexico!

They're just beginning to thin out some now. Still seeing 2 or 3 adult males now and then, but by and large, most of our visitors are hatch year birds. And they are feisty!! Almost as pugnacious as the hummingbirds!

Boy was I confused, lol finally I clicked on the words and it brought me to facebook. I kept yelling I want to see, why can't i see the Marauders? Then I SAW. I can hosestly say I have never seen anything like it. amazing, unreal. I had to have al come check it out. you are one lucky duck. (Orieal ) Holy jelly jar bat woman. Orieal woman. That was a gift, I hope you have a job lot store to supply your jelly funds. That was truly amazing. Ginny H.

LOL We panicked and cleaned out the grape jelly supply at one of the local stores--and wouldn't you know it, most of the orioles took off the next day! So now we have lots and lots of grape to start out with next spring! We're still seeing the odd oriole on and off during the day, but nowhere near what it was back in August. They were a hoot to watch!
