I could not believe my eyes, first, I thought, a Carolina Wren but it was too big, then it turned around, and there were spots on it's breast, a Hermit Thrush.
I get to add him/her to my life list.

Oh, that's awesome, l2b! Aren't they beautiful? Brier and I found one in the road while on a walk the other day--stunned, probably from a passing car. Happy ending, though--was able to release him into the thickets that afternoon. But man, are they gorgeous little fellas!!
