Oh, dang, they're so cute!!! I'm infinitely envious! I know we must have some young catbirds around, but they're being very secretive this year! I can hear them, but they're not showing themselves.

I've had less this week. Once the young ones are out and about I tend to see them less. I guess they're all off learning to find bugs or something. They still come by but not like they do when they are feeding their young. From spring until around now they practically fly into me the second I walk outside. I also had a young chickadee that kept coming down with the adult (at least I think it was an adult) catbird. The chickadee parents were around but baby kept following the catbird. He/she followed from the chair to the tree and back 3 times. Catbird seemed oblivious to being followed, lol. Attachments:

I finally saw a young catbird this morning--but it's already independent. Nice to know there were some from the season, though!
