The Curve-billed Thrashers have been busy around last year's nest. Mrs. has been on it a lot... got a chance to check it out this afternoon and there are three eggs! I looked back on the old forum and they are ahead of schedule. Last year I posted this topic and they were finishing the nest on April 29.

whoot whoot!!!!! Three already!
Do you suppose they're expecting an insect boom earlier this year because of all the moisture you've been getting?

Thanks folks! In regard to the bugs - it'll probably be a boom for sure - many are already around.

Two hatchlings for sure - I've saw two bills yesterday. They hatched (just a mess of 'black goo/fuzz and egg pieces' the day before we left for Austin (the 8th)).
