The sun set the first day the ice was mostly gone. Which was monday April 6th. 2015 the buffle heads showed up. the swan came swimming by on easter. Ginny H.

I wish I had better photo's of the Merganser females but the trees branches get in the way. The Ice is all gone now, just some snow at the edges. We had hail today.

House sparrow thief. female merganser House sparrow stealing the roosting house out front. I only have one male house sparrow. He is a busy son of a gun. Ginny H.

I enjoy watching those buffleheads but I find my self holding my breath when they go under lol Ginny H.

LOL I do the same thing with diving birds! And I can never hold it as long as they can, so I'm always worried they're not coming back up.
