I'm not even sure when it starts! I should go out on their Facebook page and check it out. Meanwhile, though, I was curious as to how many of you are still participating?

I'm signed up, too. For some reason, I didn't participate that much last year. Will try to stick with it this year.

Not me - enjoyed the birds more last season when I didn't have to count them.

Lue, I kind of agree with you.

I count 'em, anyway, for eBird--but if I do PFW, as well, I have to keep two lists (not everything for eBird counts for PFW, and eBird demands a time limit which PFW doesn't). Just for that reason, I didn't do PFW last year and I'm of two minds about it again this year. But at least now I know it starts in mid-November! So I have a little time to think about it, yet. Do any of you also submit lists to eBird?

Hazel, don't do eBird, just PFW.

I just got tired of paying Cornell to do research for them. And the increased fee bugged me last year. I don't do eBird either. But eBird certainly helped you HRM when you fought that pipeline.

Yeah, eBird was pretty helpful. Plus it's free!

Wait--the fee for PFW increased? I guess I vaguely remember something about it, but since I didn't count for PFW last year, I'd forgotten...

HRM, I believe the Project FeederWatch Fee is raised to $18.00 from $15.00 for non members. I think this is a detrimental move on behave of FeederWatch, have to wait and see.

In fall 2014, they had a $ 15.00 old rate up until a certain date then after that date it went to $ 18.00. It is $ 18.00 now for non-members.
