Each night I have been getting lulled to sleep with a owl. He stops around 1 a.m. and off to sleep I go. I took dark video and got two segments of his call. who whowho who who is what it sounds like . It has been great having the company. Ginny H.

We haven't heard owls since the catastrophic drought of 2011, but Cliff heard one in the early morning a couple days ago.

I love owls too! Heard and saw them frequently growing up in Midwest on farm. As adult living in suburbia, I miss that! I did see 2 Great Horned Owls in tall trees across street from me a couple weeks ago, and heard them hooting to each other...awesome experience!

That must have been fun to watch, peggy! We have heard them a few times, but mostly we hear/see barred owls, instead.
