Ebird alert. There is a Brambling in Medina, Ohio. This is a very rare Eurasian bird that is eating seeds under birdfeeders in the area. There are photos on ebird also.

Very cool! Are you going to drive over there to see it?
There is a Lewis's woodpecker about 65 miles from here that's been there all winter. I'm torn about driving all that way to see it--and something tells me that the brambling is a heck of a lot farther from you than 65 miles! LOL I wish I had a driving partner--I can drive, or I can navigate, but doing both at once? That's called getting lost! LOL

LOL I can't drive over, my auto is 27 years old and may not survive the trip, maybe?, a bus trip might be a better way to travel. Medina in Allardale Park is one of the places the Brambling has been seen in Ohio, it is possibly a four/five hour drive from my home in S.W. Pennsylvania by turnpike. lol. Lost? been there, done that, that's one thing done off my bucket list.

LOL Glad I'm not the only one who's been able to cross that off their bucket list!! 4 to 5 hours is way out of my league, for sure--the woodpecker is only about an hour and 20 minutes from here and I'm still thinking long and hard about whether or not to attempt it...
