Let me rephrase my response,
"When the clouds part, may the sun shine down on your fair land again". To be honest l2b, I like your first response better... I could see the twinkle in your eye when you "said it"! Although, I thank you for your response when you thought my feelings were injured.

Lovely blooms Lue, the yellow flowers against the green is breathe-taking.

Like Lue, I'm tired of clouds and rain. The dampness makes all my bones hurt. I want to get outside and plant flowers! Spring is officially here and I want proof!!

Flowering photos are so pretty, Lue. Your cactus looks so much like my aloe plant, only bigger. I missed this earlier - thanks for the comments Barbara and I agree they do look alike. We have an aloe vera plant (inside) too!

And we had more these past three days! We have had another 1" of rain on top of what we had!!!! We're 1/3 or the way to our yearly total and the rainy season doesn't start until late June!!! Sunshine, maybe, tomorrow! I can only hope and wish!

Those are the loveliest scrambled eggs I've ever seen, Lue! That plant is totally new to me--I've never even heard of it before! Is it fairly common there?

Thanks all for the kind words. And thanks HRM, yes, they seem pretty uncommon. I haven't seen them at the house for 3-4 years. I thought I was so clever with my wording about serving and first course when I posted the 'eggs'... but no one mentioned it. Oh the ego is so fragile!

Lue, I have to admit that I totally missed the flower pics. I somehow picked up the thread above/below them?? Oh well..... the scrambled eggs reference is funny and cute!

Marilyn, I think you were on the previous page and didn't realize there was a next page. I've done that. It is easy to do with the reply box at the bottom of each page. Thanks for helping my insecure ego!!

Lue, when you mentioned scrambled eggs, they looked so good, you made me hungry with a smile on my face.
P.S. I made scrambled eggs for my dinner with 3 pieces of toast.

Too funny l2b!!! Guess what?!? As soon as those nasty clouds left, the brilliant blue sky was back! It has been upper 70s* here the last few days, YES!
